Lob leverages USPS for all of Lob’s and your mailing needs. We are subject to the USPS mailing speeds and mailing types (first class, standard, etc) and delivery speed can vary based on origination point and mailpiece destination endpoint. Lob typically produces mailpieces in around 2 days and subsequently hands them off to USPS to get mailed.
Domestic USPS First Class delivery times are listed below:
Letters - 4 to 6 business days
Postcards - 4 to 6 business days
Checks - 4 to 6 business days
International mailings will take an additional 5 to 7 days.
Delivery times for Standard Mail are listed below:
Letters - 7 to 21 business days
Postcards - 7 to 21 business days
USPS does not provide delivery time guarantees for Standard Mail.
